For professional drivers all over Waterford and the surrounding areas, Preferential Safety host transport manager CPC Courses in preparation for the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport exams.
For the convenience of our clients, we run these course on a bi-annual basis. To accommodate the busy schedules of professional drivers, these bi-annual courses are held over a number of weekends.
Upon successfully completing our Transport Management course and passing the test, the driver will be awarded the Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) in Road Transport Operations Management. This certificate proves that the driver is qualified to undertake and participate in road transport operations in any EU Member state.

Why do I need this certificate?

Drivers are required to have a Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) in Road Transport Operations Management (road haulage) to meet the requirements of Regulation (EC) No. 1071/2009.

What is the examination format?

The examination is broken down into two exam papers, with and an exam time of 2 hours, 30 minutes each
Each paper contains:
- 6 Multiple Choice Questions ( 5 Marks Each)
- 11 Short Questions (20 Marks Each)
- 1 Compulsory Question (110 Marks)
- 1 Essay Question (50 Marks)
