Used correctly, off-road vehicles, or 4x4s, are very versatile vehicles with a wide variety of uses. Unfortunately, even the most experienced off-road drivers can find themselves in hazardous and potentially dangerous situations. With what used to be once-in-a-lifetime weather events now occurring every couple of years, alignment and coordination are critical. Everyone needs to be working toward the same goal. Without proper planning, the best case outcome is reduced operational capacity, at worst, a complete loss of operations. Serious accidents can and do occur without proper training.
You will be expected to complete theoretical and practical tests whilst being assessed.
4x4 In The Workplace
If your employees use 4x4 or off road vehicles in the workplace all users of such vehicles must be trained how to use them safely. The demand for employees to be trained & certified complying with the Health and Safety regulations, requires specialist off - road instruction.
